Provel cheese, Pi Pizzeria and  Griesedieck Brothers Brewery were the big winners in the St. Louis Business Journal's year-end poll.

 According to bizjournals.com, the maker of President Obama's favorite pizza, Pi Pizzeria, dominated the final round to win pizza madness, drawing in more than 46 percent of the vote.In beer, we had a dark horse winner: Griesedieck Brothers came back yet again to overcome former front-runner 4 Hands Brewing Company with more than 50 percent of the vote.

 As for the age-old St. Louis question, "Provel or no-provel?" No surprise here: Sixty-one percent of you said you'd go for Provel cheese.
