There’s nothing like pizza and music to lift the spirits and give hope to people facing difficult circumstances. That’s the idea behind A Slice of Hope Week, to be held June 19-25 in cities around the country. The New York-based nonprofit A Slice of Hope will throw pizza parties at homeless shelters and food banks and is seeking pizzerias—including independents and chains alike—to sponsor and donate food to the parties.
