By partnering with Foody Direct, Detroit Style Pizza Co. is able to ship Authentic Detroit Style Pizza overnight to residents in Michigan, northwest Ohio, northern Illinois and northeast Illinois for a flat rate of $9.95. All other continental U.S. residents pay just $29.95 for shipping. Previous shipping rates were $45 regardless of location, so the new program reflects a 78 percent savings for regional customers and a 33 percent savings for nationwide customers. That adds up to an average savings of $36.95 per regional mail orders and $16.95 for nationwide orders.

Available for overnight delivery are Detroit Style Pizza Co.'s Tangy BBQ Chicken Pizza, which was named World's Best Pizza at the 2012 International Pizza Expo; Margarita in the “D” Pizza, which features a blend of fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, roasted garlic and red onions, then finished with a dusting of sea salt. Other available pizzas include Meat Supreme, Pepperoni, Cheese, and Veggie. All orders are shipped in packs of three pizzas placed in special Arctic Foil and Ice Bricks packaging so the pizzas are delivered fresh.

Authentic Detroit Style Pizza features a thick crust that is light and airy on the inside, crispy on the outside. A layer of pepperoni is lined on the dough (except for cheese-only pizzas) and covered with a blend of brick and mozzarella cheeses that caramelize to the crust when baked.
