[[PRESS RELEASE]] Tim Green, former chef/partner of Wood Stone Corporation has announced the launch of his new consulting business, Pizza Geometrics – Pizza Consulting. 

Green’s focus is on all styles of pizza and utilizing different types of ovens for independent operators, chains, and institutions. His experience in the manufacturing world and more than 30 years in hospitality and the restaurant industry, allows him to understand his client’s needs and how to best partner with manufacturers and the chain of distribution. 

Pizza Geometrics-Pizza Consulting will navigate clients through the simple steps of creating or improving their pizza concept by helping them to choose the right equipment and layout of equipment. Green will utilize proven recipes, ingredients and processes supported by passionate hands-on training for overall success of the operator.

Green is an expert in stone-hearth cooking with wood, coal, or gas.  He also supports the need for and advantages of deck and conveyor ovens. In recent testing and seminars, Green has discussed side-by-side comparisons of ovens and how to manipulate dough and/or ovens to get great results. 

Green has worked with independent operators, chains, institutions, and renowned chefs from around the world who have sought to begin or improve their pizza concepts. He has worked with Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria, California Pizza Kitchen and Whole Foods Market. He has been involved with numerous fast casual concepts in the last eight years, including Your Pie, Blaze Pizza, and Pieology. In the past two and half years, Green has helped more than 15 pizza concepts with development and start-up or improvement of their present concept.

Green is a graduate of Johnson & Wales College in Providence, Rhode Island, and presently resides in Bellingham, Washington.
