The buzz:

As a 28 year old, innovative manufacturer of custom apparel, corporate and promotional products, Pacific Emblem Co. has done it again. By marrying the QR code (or "Smart Code" as the company calls it) with their printed KeyTags, they have created the uZAPPit® Smart Tag. The company will print a full-color image on the front and a custom “QR” code on the back promoting the brand's product offer. Special shapes are also available. uZAPPit Smart Tags are Patent Pending (#13/705738).

The deal:

Brands give their custom Logoed Smart Tags to customers. When the customer ZAPPS or scans the QR code with their Smart Phone, it magically whisks them instantly to the brands special offering, discount, landing page or message (even videos!) The customer can then check out the offer, fill out their mobile number, email and name and once opted in, the Brand can market back to the consumer at any future date. The Brand can also change their offer at any time by updating their landing page without any monthly subscription fees.
