A second Big Vinny’s Take & Bake Pizza in Lincoln recently hosted its Grand Opening day with the chance to sample pizzas and win great prizes.

Grand Opening activities for the new location on November 15 began at 11 a.m. and ran though close at 8 p.m. Customers had the chance to sample the take-and-bake pizzas and order for carry out on the spot, spin the prize wheel to win Big Vinny’s Take & Bake Pizza prizes, and enter to win pizza for a year.

“There was no better time or place to introduce pizza made ready to bake at home than last Saturday in Lincoln,” said Rick Ledwich, District Manager of Big Vinny’s Take & Bake Pizza. “We’ve had a warm reception in our newest location, despite the cold temperatures last week. Snow didn’t stop our neighbors from stopping by during our Grand Opening!”

Lincoln’s second Big Vinny’s Take & Bake Pizza opened its doors earlier this month prior to the Grand Opening at 2840 S. 70th Street, near Russ’s Market off South 70th and Van Dorn streets. The store regularly operates Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The 1,345 sq. ft. store uses the finest ingredients and dough made-fresh-daily to prepare custom-ordered pizzas– tailored to each customer’s sauce and toppings preference – in minutes.
