Norbest, a leading foodservice and retail turkey processor recently named Norm Ramos as their Director of Marketing. The announcement was made by Norbest Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Robert Wangerien.

Ramos will be responsible for overseeing all retail and foodservice marketing functions including product management, advertising and new product initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome Norm to the Norbest team,”stated Wangerien. “Norm is a highly strategic marketer who will help us reach our growth objectives,” he continued.

With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience Ramos is a recognized leader who combines strong business acumen with innovative problem solving skills. Previous to joining the company he spent 15 years in marketing with various food companies including: Nabisco, General Mills, and Foster Farms. Ramos also has over five years of sales and marketing experience in financial services. Norm earned his B.S. from Cornell University and his MBA from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

Founded in 1930, Norbest is an association of over forty independent western state turkey growers and allied companies united to provide exceptional turkey products to the foodservice and retail industries.
