A popular Pennsylvania pizzeria is planning the perfect pairing of the planet's two most complementary foods–beer and pizza.

Lehighvalleylive.com reports Sotto Santi is partnering with Shangy's The Beer Authority in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, to pair a special lineup of craft beers with slices of specialty pizzas. The event runs 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 12 at Sotto Santi, 10 W. Fourth St. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It's a way of welcoming in the new line of summer beers, explains Sotto Santi owner Anthony Spagnola. Blue Point Blueberry beer and a lineup of summer ales are featured brews. Cost is $6 for one slice and one beer.
