Restaurants with 50 or more fulltime employees would no longer have to provide insurance to those workers under the new health care plan proposed by congressional Republicans. The Trump-supported plan may face an uphill battle, with virtually all Democrats aligned against it and even some Republicans expressing concerns. But one industry expert believes elimination of the employer mandate and other business-friendly parts of the legislation will remain intact.
