Pieology, the creator of personally-inspired pizzas, is getting ready to launch its new PieRise Thick Crust. The new thicker crust is optimized for takeout and delivery, and Pieology says it's the first of its kind to be introduced within the DIY pizza market.

Pieology Chef Scott Weaver worked in conjunction with Pieology’s elite franchisee leadership council to develop the PieRise Thick Crust’s innovative recipe, which offers a perfect crust foundation for Pieology’s signature sauces and abundance of toppings. With more than 78 billion pizza combinations, the company says the PieRise Thick Crust "takes pizza lovers possibilities to new heights."

“We’ve been testing the new crust in select markets across the country and it has been welcomed with rave reviews,” said Carl Chang, Founder and CEO of Pieology Pizzeria. “PieRise Thick Crust is an extension of our promise to deliver creative and delicious personally-inspired pizzas. We’re hungry to continue to bring Pieology lovers new and exciting offerings.”

Pieology will fire up the new crust starting in April with full national distribution by the end of the month, making PieRise Thick Crust the fourth crust offering on the menu, in addition to the House-Made Original, House-Made Whole Wheat and Gluten-Free options.

“Now, more than ever before, Pieology truly has a pizza option for everyone and there is still more to come,” said Pieology Chef Scott Weaver. “It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Pieology team and I can’t wait to share more of our new developments with our guests soon.”
