America's Incredible Pizza Company (IPC), a family entertainment complex is making new rounds. Rick Barsness, CEO of IPC, announced that the chain now offers a new line of Gourmet Healthy Pizzas beginning Tuesday, August 19th. The pizzas, created by IPC’s Corporate Chef, James Clary, are made with olive oil, fresh vegetables, pesto, and artisan cheeses and lean meats. These ingredients are placed on top of the company’s signature, thin and crispy, Lavosh crust. Clary states, “I crafted these pizzas first, to taste great. The pizzas I had while visiting Rome are extremely crispy and utilize the local produce available in the area inspired me.” The pizzas are designed to contain half the cheese and half the carbohydrates of IPC’s regular pizza pies and will please the most discerning customer.
Don Potvin, Senior Vice President of the company noted that IPC’s new pizzas signify the changing eating habits of a great many Americans. “We feel it is important to offer food that anyone can feel good about eating. We realize that many of our customers have made a decision to eat healthier and we want to be a leader in the pizza industry when it comes to offering healthier choices.” Barsness and Potvin have also tagged Chef Clary to create a new line of healthier pasta dishes, provide more vegetable offerings and to increase the gluten and sugar free items. “These new offerings will compliment the great food we already carry,” said Barsness. “We have no intention of deleting any of our signature menu items. The idea is to enhance our menu to serve a wider audience.”
